DomiLinq joins forces with Gerantis and becomes a Benelux market leader in Homeowners Association and property management

The family office Strikwerda Investments becomes the new majority shareholder of the Belgian Gerantis, which will henceforth join DomiLinq as part of the same group of property managers. The Belgian-Dutch alliance forms a technology-driven market leader in the Benelux with the ambition of further European expansion.
In six years, Gerantis has grown into one of the leading Homeowners Association Managers (HOA) in Belgium. With Strikwerda Investments taking over as new majority shareholder from investor M80 Partners, the company shifts into a higher gear. The alliance brings together two like-minded players managing a combined total of more than 160,000 homes, a shared vision and strong growth ambitions. The strategic goal is clear: to further strengthen a leading position in the Benelux, with Europe as the next horizon.
Strikwerda Investments: more than capital
The entry of Strikwerda Investments marks a pivotal moment. Where M80 Partners made Gerantis’ first growth phase possible, Strikwerda heralds a new phase of development. With DomiLinq, Strikwerda has a proven operational model in the Netherlands, deep sector knowledge and a strong network. The combination of financial firepower, technological expertise and sector knowledge makes Strikwerda the ideal partner to accelerate the international growth strategy. For DomiLinq, the connection of Gerantis is in turn a logical step: two platforms with a comparable professional property management, strengthening each other in scale and expertise.
“M80 helped nurture what Gerantis is today: a market leader in the making, with the people, the technology and the ambition to reshape the HOA management profession. It is precisely that profile that attracted Strikwerda. We transfer our stake with the certainty that Gerantis is placing the next phase of its growth in the best possible hands.”
Pieter Vermeersch, Partner, M80 Partners
“This collaboration feels like a logical next step. Both organisations have professional and driven teams who want to take the sector to its next phase. Together, we can more swiftly respond to the growing complexity and demands of the market. For this, we share a long-term vision: building a platform for and by entrepreneurs, ready for the future of the profession.”

Scale as the answer to a changing market
The strategic rationale of both companies is closely intertwined with the broader reality in property management. Apartment living is the fastest-growing form of housing in the Benelux. At the same time, the technical, legal and sustainability requirements for jointly owned properties are becoming ever more complex. Anyone wishing to operate at the highest level as a property manager needs scale in order to make the necessary investments profitable.
Gerantis and DomiLinq are built precisely for this. The collaboration enables the platforms to combine their technological expertise, apply shared quality standards and increase their purchasing power with suppliers. Co-owners benefit directly: better service, faster innovation and a property manager that can serve them across borders.
“The scale advantages of this collaboration are real and concrete. We can integrate our Value Added Services ecosystems and together negotiate stronger terms with suppliers. But equally important is the quality acceleration: with two teams that hold themselves to the same high standards, we raise the bar on what professional property management truly means.”

A platform for European growth
With the combination of Gerantis and DomiLinq, there is now a group that combines scale, capital and operational experience in two countries. The next step is focused on further growth: by connecting new offices, continuing to grow organically and broadening the perspective to other European markets. The group is supported in this by an investor with a long-term horizon and experience in scaling platforms across Europe in technology-driven sectors.
“By welcoming Gerantis, we are taking an important step in our ambition to become the leading European player in the field of property management. Our strength lies not only in growth, but above all in bringing together strong companies, while preserving their own identity, culture and entrepreneurship. It is precisely that combination that makes us unique: we are building a knowledge-driven organisation that knows how to combine the advantages of scale with local involvement, in which entrepreneurs continue to play a central role. In this way, we create sustainable value for our clients, employees and partners.”
